Community Partner event – April 30 cleanup

At Downtown CREDO, we believe that a life of impact often starts with steps so small they seem silly. This is certainly true of our longstanding cleanups. Every month, we ask several groups of students, “why do we pick up trash,” and the obvious answers ring out: variations on helping the environment/earth and beautification alike.

PHOTOS: 2016 Orlando Together Parade

Downtown CREDO is based on the conviction that life is better when lived with meaning, impact, and community. Orlando is diverse, and our city is better for it. We celebrated that diversity on March 19 with our second annual Orlando Together Parade, an extension of our five-year bike rally. Four community centers – New Image Youth Center, Downtown and Parramore branches of the Boys & Girls Club, John H. Jackson Community Center, and JB Callahan Neighborhood Center – participated in a float-building competition, followed by a parade and block party at ZL Riley Park in the Parramore neighborhood.
